POSTAGE
Aurora Gem Boutique and its sister shop Garden of Devotion are situated in the UK and I post worldwide.
All items are posted within 2 working days, often sooner. If you need something very urgently then contact me and I will do my utmost to get it to you in time and will keep you updated. Within the UK I use First Class post as standard. Outside the UK I send by Airmail. If you are in a non EU country your item may be liable for import tax so please check your country's import policies before buying as there may be additional fees that you would have to pay.
Items are supplied with either a drawstring velvet pouch or a specially made pouch and are protectively packaged for postage. Postage rates vary but as a general rule for the first item UK customers can expect to pay £1.00 postage, European Union countries can expect to pay £3.20 postage and customers from outside the EU can expect to pay £3.80 postage. The exact postal costs will be shown in the shopping cart before you complete the checkout process.
WILL IT FIT ME? WHAT IF I NEED TO RETURN AN ITEM?
Please ask any questions and make the appropriate measurements to make sure the item is the one for you before purchasing. If the item you receive for some reason has a fault or is not as described, then I will accept returns. If you have any reason for wanting to return the item please contact me and we can work something mutually suitable out. If you decide that you simply no longer want the item you will be liable for return postage. Returned items need to be in an unused condition and in the gift box provided. Please note that like other earring sellers, these are not suitable for return unless faulty due to hygiene reasons.
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, customers in the EU who make purchases online are entitled to a 14 day cooling-off period from the date of delivery. With the exception of bespoke custom orders, which cannot be returned and are exempt from these regulations, I am happy to offer a full refund of any purchases under the following terms:
~ The customer makes contact within 14 days of receipt of the unwanted items
~ Items are unworn and are returned in the same condition as when they were purchased
~ Buyer pays for return postage and packaging costs.
In return you will received a full refund once I have received the item or proof that the item has been posted back to me, plus your original postage costs. You only pay to return the item to me if you have changed your mind or find the item isn't suitable for your needs.
For other returns, please contact me to discuss. Your legal rights remain unchanged. This is the law for customers within the EU, however I extend the same rights to my customers worldwide.
If you are returning goods from outside the EU you must mark your parcel clearly as "Returned Goods" otherwise the item will be liable for import tax which I am unable to pay.
Many of my necklaces are complete with an extension chain, for those that do not have one as standard, one can be attached if you let me know you would like one and if the clasp is suitable. Please ask either before you order or when you place your order. As a general rule hook and eye clasps are unsuitable for extension chains.
If you are buying a necklace or bracelet and are not sure if the length is right for you then try measuring out the length with some string, ribbon or similar and see how long it looks on you or even better measure an existing item of jewellery to see how the length compares, please allow a little extra room for the width of the beads.

At the moment I am selling on Etsy and The Stall and Craft Collective, you can pay by Paypal or Etsy has its own secure checkout system if you prefer not to use Paypal.

There is also a 'holding area' album called Facebook First where you can buy new items at a lower price before I list them in one of the shops. You can also "like" the Facebook page to be kept up to date with new developments at Aurora Gem Boutique.
If you spot several items spread across several shops don't despair! Let me know what you want and I will make sure you don't pay more than once for postage as you only pay postage on the first item.
